Data Engineering is a field within information technology focused on collecting, organizing, transforming, and preparing data for analysis and use in modern information systems. Data Engineers develop processes that enable reliable data flow between different systems and play an important role in teams building data platforms, analytical solutions, and data-driven systems.

The course we offer is designed to gradually introduce participants to the world of Data Engineering through hands-on work with technologies that are widely used by companies around the world today. During the course, participants will first gain knowledge of Git, SQL, and the Python programming language, and then learn how data is processed and transformed using platforms and tools such as Databricks, Apache Spark, dbt, and Apache Airflow. Through practical exercises, mini-projects, and a final team project, participants will gain experience in developing complete Data Engineering solutions.

Participants will learn how to work with relational databases, write advanced SQL queries, develop ETL processes in Python, process large volumes of data using Apache Spark, use the Databricks platform for developing data solutions, automate data processing with Apache Airflow, and organize data transformations using dbt tools. Throughout the course, they will work with real-world datasets and develop a final project that will become part of their professional portfolio.

The course is intended for participants who want to start a career in Data Engineering. Candidates are expected to have good computer skills, a willingness to learn intensively, and the ability to successfully complete preparatory materials covering SQL and Python before the start of the course. Previous programming experience is not required, but participants are expected to be committed, attend classes regularly, and continuously work throughout the duration of the course.

Classes will be held four times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Course duration: 12 weeks.

The course will be delivered online and is intended for people from the territory of the Republic of Serbia who want to start a career in Data Engineering.
