About the IT Bootcamp and Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation partnership:
The Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation has been a strategic partner of the IT Bootcamp project since its establishment in 2018. The strategic partnership is reflected in the provision of administrative and logistical support, which is essential for the successful implementation of the project.
The core principle of helping others is what connected the founders of IT Bootcamp with the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation. Through the IT Bootcamp project, we work toward a shared mission—improving society in Serbia by empowering individuals economically and promoting employment opportunities.
About the Foundation:
The “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation was established in 2007 as a continuation of the twenty-year humanitarian work of Ana and Vlade Divac, which began in the United States through the Divac Humanitarian Organization (HOD). Vlade Divac, a well-known Serbian national basketball player and NBA athlete, together with his wife Ana, dedicated their work to addressing the challenges faced by vulnerable social groups in Serbia and other parts of the world.
Over the course of 17 years, thanks to the support of more than 800,000 individuals, 130 organizations, and 800 companies, the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation has directed more than 25 million dollars toward helping the citizens of Serbia.
The Foundation has supported over one million people through various humanitarian and development projects, with a focus on assisting refugees and displaced persons, supporting farmers, youth projects, and the economic empowerment of the most vulnerable groups. In addition, the Foundation’s work has also been directed toward promoting gender equality, the strategic development of philanthropy, and fostering a culture of giving, in line with the vision of an equal and tolerant society.
